Kanha Tiger Reserve is spread over an area of 1,949 sq km making it one of the best habitats for tigers in India. Kanha National Park came into existence in the year 1955. The park is situated in the Central Indian Highlands, which are part of the extensive tableland that forms India's main peninsula. The highlands once were continuous forests and accounted for a significant part of the country's wilderness areas and wildlife habitats. Kanha's undulating landscape is dotted with dense groves of vegetation, hillocks and meadows.

Kusum resort is one of the best budgeted resort in Kanha Kisli. We stayed there for three nights and experience was joyful. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, bathrooms are clean. Location of resort is good. It is apprx 7km from Khatiya gate and it takes only 10mins to reach to entry gate at khatiya. Food was delicious with variety of options. Other facilities like swimming pool, vollyball court and camp fire is also available which add to the beauty of the resort. Staff is very very helpful and polite. They also help you and guide you for Safaris, Gypsy etc. Special thanks to Mr. Vicky and Mr. Santosh for all the support and making our stay memorable. Will recommend to stay here.

Good rustic resort at mocha village.Beautifully built cottages.Operation team works really well to fulfill each requirements. Nice pool area. Manager is always ready to help to make you comfortable.Even you land up without pre booked safari they will try to assist in getting the permits. Overall indian rural themed resort at good qualify service Food and it's services makes it more than cozy stay. Family and couple friendly Resort Will definitely refer to many. This property is in mocha nicely done calm near to buffer zone can give you true jungle feel Kanha been a first love for me and my family the resort has the swimming pool ,pool side sitting to relax,gazibo to chill ,place for bornfire n offer old school khatiya .food is great including breakfast lunch and dinner superb hospitality must visit...

Excellent service! Ambience and amenities such as pool, waiting area, restaurant are absolutely comfortable and enjoyable! The attendants, manager and other staff members are so much helpful and serves the customers in the best way possible! Requesting the manager to know something about wildlife there would enhance your knowledge! The surrounding area of the resort is jungle area so stay there would keep you close to the nature.

Amazing weekend hangout for family and friends, Well behaved staff Beautiful cottage, green look with scenic view and swimming pool side sitting area.
